Lindsay has created (I believe) Perry County's first pay-what-you-can, all-local grocery store. She focuses on bringing high quality, local produce and goods sourced within Perry County and surrounding communities, to not only support local farmers, bakeries, and small businesses, but to ensure that people have a trustworthy and affordable place to shop and feed their families.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhenever you shop at People's Provisions, you're asked \"is the price alright with you today?\". You can pay whatever works for you - if you need to pay less, you can! You can pay the exact amount, or if you can pay more, you can donate to the extra funds to pay it forward to others who may not be able to afford their groceries.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2026, People's Provisions has distributed $15,466.59 through their pay-it-forward program to families in need, however the program is currently operating in the negative. The program has only raised $6,758.09 so far, which means that an excess of $8,709.50 worth of food has been provided to the community, that they do not have the cashflow to fund.
